Moving Day is Near

We did the fist finish walkthrough of our new house this morning.  Just a couple of things to touch up, and the refrigerator is not in yet.  Otherwise it is done! We should be starting moving next week.

Moving Update

The loan papers go in tomorrow, and we sign the building contract (probably) next week.  The house should be done in November. Once the deal is signed I will post more specific information about the house itself.

I met today with the bank and the builder of our new home.  It’s moving along really well, and everything looks great. Moving before Christmas!

Well… in a quick turn around, we are getting the house we first put an offer on last month.  More details to come!

No Deal…

Our house offer fell thru.  The builder started wanting more and more, and we could see where that was going.  So we are walking away.  It’s hard to do, but it’s the right thing. We will find what we want – time is on our side.

Weekend

It has been a good weekend… a few stresses, but we got a lot done, and have some good food.  This is the kind of weekend I like.  I hurt my back Saturday, but it was fine yesterday.  My shoulder is a little better today too…   My toe always hurts.
